For America (Day 49)

Holy God, Our Father in heaven, Blessed be Your Name now and forever more. Incline Your ears to us. In thanksgiving we pray For the plight of women in our land And around the world.

For America (Day 48)

Our Father, Give us our daily provision of mercy and kindness. Help us to number our days so that we may walk in fear of You. We thank You, Lord, for what You have already done for us: Making us strong, resilient, brave, and free.

For America (Day 47)

Lord, we praise You For Your justice and mercy. You are slow to anger And overflow with love. Your law is perfect, Your judgments beyond reproach; Your testimonies are sure, Your commandments pure.

For America (Day 46)

Wonderful, Merciful, Graceful Lord, Hallowed be Thy Name! May Your Words be cherished Through the ages. Your statutes, oh Lord, Are more valuable than gold. They bring life, And that, more abundantly.

For America (Day 45)

Dear Lord, our King, As we see America tumbling down To complete blindness and moral chaos, We turn to You. The Scriptures tell us the way to redemption Is to take heed of Your Word. Would You put that desire in us, A desire to seek wisdom in our statutes?

For America (Day 44)

Our Father in Heaven, We come before you today Making our requests known to You With thanksgiving and praise. We pray for fathers in our nation, The ones You have called to lead Their family in godliness and righteousness, That they may feel the burden of their call.

For America (Day 43)

Lord of all, how we worship You, Lifting Your Name above all others And proclaiming Your mighty deeds From generation to generation.

For America (Day 42)

Teach us to pray, oh Lord, Teach us to pray. How we long to be in Your presence, To behold Your majesty and love.

For America (Day 41)

Who shall stand in judgment of Your judgments, oh Lord? You are holy, Your ways unsearchable, Your purposes beyond reproach.

For America (Day 40)

Dear Lord and Abba, Father May Your name be forever praised and Proclaimed in all the earth. You alone are Holy and just!

For America (Day 39)

Forgive us most gracious Father, We have committed grave sins. We have tried to make ourselves gods, Betraying the most basic of Your commandments.

For America (Day 38)

Glory in the highest; Our Savior reigns! For there is no other Name on earth, Or above or below, to whom every knee should bow… But to Yours, the Great I Am, Yahweh.

For America (Day 37)

Today’s prayer is an excerpt from the invocation delivered by Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. at the Billy Graham’s Evangelistic Association Crusade on New York City, July 18, 1957:

For America (Day 36)

A prayer of thanksgiving to the God Who has shed His grace upon America. It because of Your grace and love for mankind That we are not consumed in Your wrath.

For America (Day 35)

Our God and Creator, In 1776 America was a national experiment of freedoms the world had never seen before, and You have kept Your hands on us since then. You are the Author of our unalienable rights.

For America (Day 34)

Today, Lord, we want to offer a prayer for the family, That magnificent unit of Your design, when you proclaim that glorious day, That “Man shall leave his mother and father and be joined to his wife” And that these two “shall become one …”

For America (Day 33)

We cry out for our nation, We cry out for those in deep need, In this new year, O Lord We pray that a spirit of service And love for one another may reign In 2015, where we hold tightly to Your beautiful admonition, “Love God above all and your neighbors as yourself.”

For America (Day 32)

Make us one. Make us one. Make us one undivided body. Lord, we need Your help! Our country is divided along racial lines now more than it has been in a long time. God, help the Church to see the truth that we are from one race – the human race.

For America (Day 31)

Great God, We lift our voices on behalf of our country, America. Who are we that You should think of us and even care for us? You are the God of all creation, no matter how hard some try to ignore it.

For America (Day 30)

Dear Heavenly Father, Look upon us with Your mercy. Hear the desperate cry of those who are willing to acknowledge You. Father, we do not ask You for more “stuff” but rather for more mercy, kindness, and protection- not that we deserve anything from Your hand.
