How lovely is Your presence, O Lord, Creator of the universe! In You we have fullness of spirit and light, How grateful we are of your great mercy. That You hear our call, is incredibly humbling and brings great joy.

We lift up our eyes to the heavens, Knowing that our help comes only from You, O Lord. We trust neither in armies, nor political leaders; Nor does our trust lie in economic or scientific advancements.

From the depths of despair, O Lord, [We] call for your help. Hear [our] cry, O Lord. Pay attention to [our] prayer.

We lift up our children, O God. How we are filled with hope when We read of the incredible love with Which You treated them.

Precious Father, this day we bring a prayer of thanksgiving for Thee. For Your wondrous works are numerous around us

We cry out for Your justice and mercy, O Lord, our God! Your judgments are righteous; Your statutes benevolent. You are the hope of the poor and oppressed. We cry out on their behalf.

For America (Day 19)

What wonderful mysteries You have hidden for us In Your Creation, O Heavenly Master. The wonder of it all brings awe to our minds And our spirits.

For America (Day 18)

Dear Father God, These are definitely the times that try man’s soul, but when we have You to turn to, it makes it so much easier to live day by day without fear and with the peace that passes all understanding.

For America (Day 17)

Eyes to see And ears to hear. That is our prayer today Most gracious LORD and Father. We are in such desperate need of Your counsel.
