The Left and the Sessions Nomination

I have a new piece out on the left’s insidious use of racial innuendo against Sen. Jeff Sessions as he is considered to become the nation’s next Attorney General.  Here is my conclusion: The charges of racism from the left are hollow to the core. They have actually hurt the cause of civil rights, and I […]

Concerned Women for America Spearheads Effort to Confirm Sessions

Concerned Women for Ameria (CWA), as the largest public policy organization for women in the country, is leading an effort to support the confirmation of Sen. Jeff Sessions as the next Attorney General of the United States and to stand up against the unfair attacks of the left and its media allies to smear the […]

Holder-Sessions Timeline Comparison

As a matter of public service, since we know the left is going crazy about the nomination of Sen. Jeff Sessions to be the next U.S. Attorney General, here is a timeline comparison between President-elect Trump’s nomination of Jeff Sessions and President Obama’s nomination of Attorney General Eric Holder. Given this comparison, we can safely […]

Moribund Media Stumbles Through Election to Its Final Death

One of the biggest disappointments of this election season has to be the final unraveling of the mainstream media.  As the days pass and the smoke clears a bit after the shocking events, it is hard to grapple with the magnitude of their collapse.

For America (Day 75)

Good Lord and Master, May Your name and the sacrifice of Your Son Jesus Christ Be forever praised on Earth As it is in Heaven.

President Trump, Now What?

A busy night here at Concerned Women for America’s (CWA) Headquarters where we have decidedly committed this election to prayer.  Great comfort and peace comes from that, no matter the outcome. But Donald Trump winning the presidency surely represents some good news for Christian conservative voters, even as some concerns remain.

Rise of the Totalitarian Atheistic State

There is a bonus scene at the end of the movie “God’s Not Dead 2,” that seemed comical to many because it is so far-fetched. A pastor is, very peacefully and matter-of-factly, arrested for refusing to hand over his sermons to the state. Two police officers hand cuff him and read him his Miranda rights. […]

For America (Day 74)

Oh Lord, Our God, Our Refuge and Safe Passage, Forgive us our selfish wants, As we ignore You, the greatest treasure.

For America (Day 73)

Great “I Am,” Lord and Master, We have no confidence in our own virtue But rely on Your moving Spirit within us To know everything that is good and true and acceptable.

For America (Day 72)

Lost no more, I stand amazed On Solid Rock, while others fade, Vying forever to proclaim Eternal life in Jesus’ Name.

Deadly “Locker Room Talk”

Whatever our opinion of the Donald Trump candidacy, we must be careful not to flippantly dismiss his comments and actions in the recently surfaced “Access Hollywood” tape as just “locker room talk.”  They must be categorically condemned. Many have discussed its effect on women, but I want to talk to all the young men observing […]

For America (Day 70)

Gracious Heavenly Father, We lift our voices in thanksgiving For Your inspiring, all-sufficient, Life-giving Word.

For America (Day 69)

Eternal Father, You are from everlasting to everlasting. You created us from our mother’s womb. We praise You!

For America (Day 68)

Lord Jesus, Teach us to count our days. We are but for a moment; Your Word endureth forever.

For America (Day 67)

Almighty God, Redeemer, King, Have mercy on us, weak and heavy laden Sinners in need of redemption and salvation, A people bearing the scars of rebellion.

Searching for Douglass and King

Most people of good faith grieve as they see the events unfold in Charlotte this week. The senseless violence is pointless. I look at these kids aimlessly protesting, and I’m reminded of the events captured by the Apostle Matthew in the ninth chapter of his Gospel.

For America (Day 66)

Wonderful, caring Father, We beseech You, Grant us the wisdom You have promised to those who ask.

For America (Day 65)

Lord, we pray for peace. We pray for all peoples Of the world You created, Your image on Earth.

Time to Tear Down America’s Idol

Yes, I am going there. This will not make me popular. But it must be said. It’s time for all decent Americans to stop worshipping at the altar of football (and sports in general, for that matter).
