Meet CWA of the District of Columbia’s New Director

We are pleased to introduce Abi-Ananiah Prudent, Concerned Women for America’s (CWA) new District Director of the District of Columbia. Drawn to CWA’s mission and principles, she joined the CWA leadership team in early 2024 as an Influencer in Franklin, Tennessee, after having served in Young Women for America (YWA) during her undergraduate work at Liberty University. Then, after moving to the District of Columbia later that year, she started a Prayer/Action Chapter in 2025.

With a passion for making Christ’s name known among government leaders, through her chapter, Abi-Ananiah has united Bible-believing Christians in prayer for those on both sides of the aisle. This community of believers has created a program in which they regularly pray for the city council and send encouraging, Scripture-focused postcards to each member. These women are strong and ready to support CWA of the District of Columbia as it stands firmly on its foundation of prayer and now boldly steps forward to address the issues that matter most to you.

Through her studies at Liberty University, Abi-Ananiah earned a Bachelor’s in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus in Criminal Justice, Social Sciences, and Global Studies. This combination allowed her to develop an understanding of community needs and to center Christ in the community resourcing in which she has participated.

Separate from her volunteer work for CWA, Abi-Ananiah is employed by CWA as the Senior Coordinator managing the YWA Southern Region, where she does an incredible job equipping young women on high school and college campuses to promote conservative, Biblical values through prayer, education, and advocacy. In addition, Abi-Ananiah regularly serves at the Capitol Hill Pregnancy Center and has served on her church’s intern ministry team, bringing the Gospel to students from across the country.

As the District Director and a Prayer/Action Chapter Leader, Abi-Ananiah seeks to bring together Christ-following conservative women to impact the District of Columbia for His glory.

A Note from Abi:

“I am so grateful and honored for the opportunity to be a part of growing Women for America efforts here in the District of Columbia. The Biblical responsibility to be a light in this dark world, and specifically in this city, weighs heavily on my heart, and I am grateful to be trusted by the Lord to take part in leading what He is doing through the body of believers here.

“My hope is to continue bringing together women who are growing in their conviction of Biblical values to stand in unity for the preservation of our Constitution and the protection of its principles, both locally and nationally.

“Please join us as we continue to source our peace and strength from the Lord alone, as it states in Isaiah 12:2, ‘Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid; for the Lord God is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation.’”

Please pray and ask the Lord if He might be calling you to increase your involvement in the ministry of CWA of the District of Columbia. Contact Abi-Ananiah at 202-642-3746 or [email protected]. She would love to talk with you, answer your questions, and join you in prayer for God’s direction in your life.
