One voice is yet to rise with the force it inherently has in this transgender push for men in women’s sports and spaces: the voice of fathers. I sincerely pray that God will finally lay the burden on a considerable number of us who are still “taking it on the chin,” so to speak, to avoid unnecessary conflict. By now, many have realized that you will not be left alone. The radical transgender movement will either be crushed, or it will crush us all.
It is time for fathers to stand up and fight for their daughters.
Representative Wesley Hunt (R-Texas 38) channeled my feelings and the feelings of millions of fathers who are fed up with the tyranny of forcing our girls to surrender their dignity as women at the feet of men who believe they are women in a recent hearing before the U.S. House Judiciary Subcommittee on the Constitution and Limited Government. At a hearing on “The Dangers and Due Process Violations of ‘Gender-Affirming Care’ for Children,” he passionately said:
… I can assure you that my 4-year-old and my 2-year-old daughter will not change in front of biological men. This is ridiculous. I don’t care what party you are a part of; if you think that we are all equal and the same biologically, you’ve literally lost your mind. And when my two daughters work hard in a sport, work hard in their craft, to be the best that they can be amongst other women, they will compete against other women. I owe Victoria and Olivia and every other young lady in this country that. If you think I’m wrong, I am not the problem—I can assure you.
Amen. It is time for fathers to stand up for their daughters who, at the moment, have been left to fight this fight on their own for the most part. That’s my plea, at least. Count me among those like Rep. Hunt who will not allow my daughters to be accosted in this way. I will not comply. I will not surrender. I will not adapt. I will protect my daughters…
