Your Help Still Needed on the Value Them Both Amendment

The Kansas State Senate overwhelmingly passed the Value Them Both Amendment resolution (SCR 1613) last Wednesday, January 29.  The resolution now moves to the Kansas House for consideration. If the House passes the resolution, the proposed Value Them Both Constitutional Amendment will be placed on the August 2020 primary ballot.

The Value Them Both Amendment will allow Kansans to protect mothers and babies with common-sense regulations. Click here for more information on the amendment and CWA of Kansas’ work on the resolution.

The House can take up the resolution at any time, so it’s critical that you contact your representative TODAY and urge him/her to support the Value Them Both Amendment.

 Take Action:
Contact your representative and tell him/her that you are a member of Concerned Women for America (CWA) of Kansas and that you want them to vote YES on SCR 1613 with no amendmentsClick here and then click on “Find Your Legislator” to contact your Kansas House members.  You can also call the Legislative Hot Line at 1-800-432-3924.

Please Join Me in Prayer: Dear Lord Jesus Christ, we humbly thank you that this amendment has come this far and with so much success. As the debate in the Kansas House of Representatives approaches, we pray that You prepare the hearts of the representatives to hear the arguments for and against the sanctity of life.  “Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.”  Ephesians 6:13 KJV.  Amen.

Kansans care about this issue. We most certainly should have the right to vote on the Value Them Both Amendment this August!  Thank you for your continued prayer and action on this important issue.
