There has been another great victory for the children in North Dakota! Our legislators have heard our voices and voted to support SB 2360, which removes sexually explicit material from children’s sections of libraries.

The bill protecting minors from accessing obscene material in taxpayer-funded institutions will be sent to Gov. Doug Burgum for his signature soon! Concerned Women for America of North Dakota has sent out a press release urging the Governor to support the removal of pornographic material from children’s libraries, but we need YOUR VOICE too!

My letter to the editor in the Fargo Forum provides more reasons SB 2360 is urgently needed:

Take Action:

#1. Contact Gov. Burgum and urge him to sign SB 2360. Contact form | Office #: (701) 328-2200.

Send your own message or use the suggested message here:

Please protect children from harm and sign SB 2360 into law. Obscene material does not belong in children’s sections of public libraries or K-12 grade school libraries. Taxpayers should not be forced to pay for material that is harmful to children.

Sincerely,

Your name and town

#2. Forward this email to family and friends! Every email message and every phone call are counted!

Please Pray: Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for the gift of children. We pray those You have placed in authority in our state understand the need to protect children from evil influences and work to make our libraries safe places for children.
