The 2024 elections are upon us, and we need your help to ensure that every eligible vote counts in Texas! Here are ways to engage:
- Serve as challengers and watchers during early voting and on Election Day. Reach out to your local Republican or Democrat parties for information on qualifications and how to apply.
- Serve as a Texas Election Judge, Election Clerk, Poll Worker or Poll Watcher. Online training for Texas election positions is now available here. Use can also use the poll worker lookup tool to find information on being a poll worker in your community, including requirements, hours, pay, training, and more.
- Ensure Texans are registered to vote. We have made it easy for you. Download our Conducting a Voter Registration Drive: Instructions and Helpful Tips.

Election Dates
Primary Election
- Voter Registration Deadline – Voter Registration Deadline has passed.
- Friday, February 23, 2024 – Deadline to apply for a ballot to be mailed to you.
- Tuesday, February 20, 2024 – Early voting begins
- Friday, March 1, 2024 @ 5:00 p.m. – Last day for in-person early voting.
- Tuesday, March 5, 2024 – Primary Election Day. Polls Close at 7:00 p.m.
General Election
- Monday, October 21, 2024 – First Day of in-person early voting at local polling place.
- Monday, October 7, 2024 – Deadline to register to vote or update an existing registration.
- Friday, October 25, 2024 – Deadline to apply for a ballot to be mailed to you.
- Saturday, November 1, 2024 @ 5:00 p.m. – Last day of in-person early voting at local polling place.
- Tuesday, November 5, 2024 – General Election Day. Polls close at 7:00 p.m.
