State Director Meets Up with CWA’s Women for Kavanaugh Bus Tour

By August 21, 2018South Dakota

“But let justice roll on like a river, righteousness like a never-failing stream!” (Amos 5:24)

The Women for Kavanaugh bus is just completing its tour of eight key states to show our support for Judge Brett Kavanaugh.  CEO and President Penny Nance and her staff have been touring, rallying and holding meet-and-greet events at state fairs and other venues in an effort to connect with women and their families to promote and support Judge Kavanaugh’s confirmation to the U.S. Supreme Court.

Donald Trump’s presidential victory came with the support of South Dakotans who were concerned about the future of the United States Supreme Court.  Brett Kavanaugh was on the list of then candidate Trump’s possible Supreme Court nominees, and today Kavanaugh is our Supreme Court nominee.

We are grateful that Sens. John Thune (R-South Dakota) and Mike Rounds (R-South Dakota) have indicated their full support for Brett Kavanaugh as a judge who has demonstrated his commitment to upholding the Constitution as written.

One of the states CWA is targeting is North Dakota, urging Sen. Heidi Heitkamp (D-North Dakota) to vote in support of Judge Kavanaugh. I had the pleasure to meet the Women for Kavanaugh bus as CWA held an event in Fargo on August 17.  CWA North Dakota State Director Lin Thorson and CEO and President Nance listed Kavanaugh’s qualifications and rallied the crowd to pray for his upcoming hearings and ultimately his confirmation by the U.S. Senate.  Equally crucial, citizens need to phone Sen. Heitkamp’s office and urge her to vote Yes on his confirmation.

Take Action:

  1. If you have friends in North Dakota, please urge them to pray and contact Sen. Heitkamp, urging her support for Judge Kavanaugh.
  2. Contact Sen. Thune. Thank him for supporting Kavanaugh. Be sure to let him know that you are a member of Concerned Women for America of South Dakota.
  3. Contact Sen. Rounds. Thank him for supporting Kavanaugh. Be sure to let him know that you are a member of Concerned Women for America of South Dakota.

For more information, go to the Women for Kavanaugh page here.

God bless you for your prayer and action.
