Pride Comes Before the Fall

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

“Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men… For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.” 1 Timothy 2:1,3-4

June ushers in a month of false pride, drag shows, raucous parades, and rainbow flags to glorify a lifestyle that grieves the heart of our Heavenly Father. Though this lifestyle may separate people from communion with the Father, He nonetheless desires that every person come to Him for repentance, salvation, and flourishing.

Do you know someone entangled in this web of deceit? I do.

Out of deep love, righteous indignation, and obedience, I ask you to join women around Kentucky as we lift up our loved ones, our communities, our cities, and our State for freedom from the lie of LGBTQ confusion. We pray for a movement of holiness and obedience to emerge from the ashes.

Join me in praying for Kentucky.

Heavenly, holy Father, Today I lay before you our local and state leaders, our churches, and fellow Kentuckians. I pray for their increased knowledge and understanding of this time when many, misguided by sin, create political conflict over a moral problem.

Teach them that Your law is for flourishing, not for judgment, according to Galatians 5:1: Because it is for freedom that Christ has set us free.

I pray that the deception of the LGBTQ+ movement will be laid bare and that you will bring restoration to families, children, men, and women who have been under the yoke of this ideological lie.

I pray for people across the Commonwealth to see the ugly fruit of dangerous policies supporting activities and events focused on sexuality. I pray Kentuckians would turn toward a Godly design for humanity.

I know this is a colossal request, but you are a colossal God. Thank you for hearing my prayer. Amen
