The 2023 Colorado legislative session ended in May with many good bills defeated and many bad bills signed into law. Concerned Women for America (CWA) of Colorado was at the legislature representing your voice on pro-life and pro-family issues throughout the session.
I remain hopeful for our state that God will raise up leaders who will seek His heart and support Biblical standards. Proverbs 29:2 reminds us, “When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; but when the wicked man rules, the people groan.”
We are commanded to pray fervently and without ceasing. Please pray with me:
Father, You are worthy of our praise. We humble ourselves today in Your presence and praise You for this great nation. You alone are worthy of our praise. As a country, we humble ourselves, ask for forgiveness, and turn from our wicked ways. For only then can spiritual renewal begin. We offer prayers for wisdom for our Congress, Supreme Court, and Executive offices to rule in righteousness. Draw them to You today to see Your power and glory. Lord God, we pray the same for our beloved state of Colorado. In Jesus’ Name, Amen
