Women’s Group Denounces Abortion Activists’
Behavior At Kavanaugh Hearing
Leola, SD — On Wednesday, September 5, 2018, two women from South Dakota were arrested after disrupting Judge Kavanaugh’s confirmation hearing in Washington, D.C. The two women were working on behalf of NARAL Pro-Choice South Dakota.
CWA of South Dakota State Director, Linda Schauer, issued the following statement:
“It is a sad day in South Dakota history when South Dakota young women heckle United States Senators and a Supreme Court nominee in the halls of Congress. The extremely rude detractors at the hearing for Judge Brett Kavanaugh only embarrass themselves and their cause.
“Concerned Women for America and Young Women for America believe in the dignity of all persons, born and unborn. Pre-born women deserve equality. Giving life is the great equalizer.”
Concerned Women for America is the nation’s largest women’s public policy organization.
