The voter guide covering the Primary Election in Georgia is ready. Here is important information concerning Georgia’s Primary Elections:
- All previously scheduled Primary Elections will now take place on June 9, 2020. *
- The last day to register to vote is May 11. Requests for absentee ballots may begin now. The request must be received by your County Board of Registrars by 5:00 p.m. on June 5, and marked ballots must be received by your County Board no later than 5:00 p.m. on Election Day.
- The Secretary of State encourages Georgians to vote with mail-in absentee ballot. However, Advanced In-Person Voting is still available in some counties and will take place from May 18 to June 5. Counties may also have In-Person Voting on Election Day.
