March for Life in California

Concerned Women for America (CWA) of California was honored to host prayer and worship at the California March for Life in Sacramento on the steps of the State Capitol. The thrill of gathering with thousands of pro-lifers ranging from families, high school and college students, organizations, attorneys, pastors, Assembly Members, and State Senators was a testament to God’s providence in California. 

Gov. Gavin Newsom (Democrat) signed more than a dozen pro-abortion laws last year and many more such bills have been proposed this legislative session. Amid this darkness, having a blessed gathering of more than 1,000 people, praying, worshiping, and braving the rain and hail to stand for the protection of life in the womb was an awesome display of God’s presence in California.

I encourage you to continue in the work God has begun in you to protect and promote Biblical values. We have freedom to assemble. We have freedom to pray in the public square. We have freedom to worship. We have freedom to be a voice for the voiceless and speak truth to power. The Bible says in Isaiah 6:8, “Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, ‘Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?’ And I said, ‘Here am I. Send me!’”  Members of CWA of California answered the call.
