“Not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer.” – Romans 12:11-12
We are excited to announce that Mary Smith (pictured behind Governor Abbott) has been named as the Associate Director of CWA of Texas!

Many of you around the state have had the pleasure of meeting, training with, and praying alongside Mary throughout her many years of faithful service with CWA of Texas. Mary has served as Prayer/Action Chapter Leader, North Texas Area Director, and, most recently, as Legislative Liaison during the last two legislative sessions.
Mary’s commitment runs deep. She has spent countless hours in the Capitol chapel, praying over legislators and their staff. I challenge you to find someone who has made more phone calls to legislative offices about CWA priorities and key legislation. A passionate advocate, Mary is a seasoned voice in Texas legislative hearings and a “master” at delivering compelling testimony for conservative legislation.
In her new role as Associate Director, Mary will assist me with an array of responsibilities. One of her priorities this year will be working on a new project that CWA of Texas will implement over the next 18 months, aiming to have a larger impact on Texas legislation in the Capitol by 2027.
Pray: Please pray for Mary as she assumes her new role and continues to advocate for biblical values in Texas.
