Revive Us Again

“Will You not revive us again, that Your people may rejoice in You? … that Your glory may dwell in our land.” — Psalm 85:6, 9

Please join Concerned Women for America (CWA) of Nebraska throughout July in prayer for our great nation and our state. May we, God’s people, offer powerful, fervent, and faith-filled prayers for our nation and its leaders—from the White House to the schoolhouse and everywhere in between.

America’s Founders understood that moral virtue and righteousness are essential to preserving liberty. As Benjamin Franklin observed, “Only a virtuous people are capable of freedom.” John Adams wrote, “Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.” And, Abigail Adams stated, “The scriptures tell us ‘righteousness exalts a nation.’”

As we celebrate America’s 250th birthday throughout the month of July, let us do so with hearts full of prayer and praise to our Lord and Savior. We know that “Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD” – Psalm 33:12.

Revive, America, and return to Him!

July Prayer Points:

  1. Pray that America’s leaders—from the White House to the schoolhouse—will seek GOD first and govern with His wisdom, truth, and righteousness.
  2. Pray that Christians and the Church will awaken to their GOD-given responsibility to faithfully intercede for our nation and stand boldly for Biblical truth.
  3. Pray for unity among believers as we seek GOD together for the spiritual renewal of our nation and the preservation of One Nation Under GOD.
  4. Pray that GOD will revive America once again, pour out His mercy upon our land, and cause His glory to dwell among us.
  5. Pray that GOD will begin a fresh work in His Church, renewing our hearts so we may be faithful ambassadors for Christ and a light to our nation.
  6. Pray that GOD’s purposes for America will be fulfilled and that our nation will continue to be a beacon of liberty, justice, and truth for generations to come.
