Join Us in PRAYER for Illinois

Therefore let us draw near with confidence
to the throne of grace, so that we may receive
mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”
– Hebrews 4:15

At Concerned Women for America (CWA) of Illinois, we believe prayer is our first and most powerful offense and defense. Therefore, we are excited to launch a monthly Call to Prayer. We invite you to stand with us regularly in prayer asking God to grant wisdom, discernment, and a heart for truth and justice to those in authority.

February’s Call to Prayer is focused on Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker:

  • First and foremost, for the Lord to draw him to Himself.
  • As stated above, wisdom, discernment, and a heart for truth and justice.
  • Respect for the value of every human life, especially as Illinois has become a destination for abortion and has recently legalized physician-assisted suicide.
  • Respect for parental authority in education, as homeschooling families continue to face legislative efforts to increase regulation and limit their freedom.
  • Respect for girls in sports and a conviction of God’s design as it pertains to men and women.
  • A desire to protect Illinois citizens, including a restraint on policies that hinder law enforcement efforts and contribute to human trafficking and sexual exploitation.

Please join us in prayer throughout the month of February. Consider printing this e-alert and placing it where you will see it daily.
