A Prayer Gathering and New Anti-Human Trafficking Caucus Launch
“The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor, he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound.” – Isaiah 61:1
Sen. Chris Dush (R- District 25) has invited Concerned Women for America (CWA) of Pennsylvania to participate in a significant event marking a new initiative to combat human trafficking. This event will highlight the formation of the Pennsylvania Anti-Human Trafficking Caucus, a collective effort dedicated to combating this grave violation of human rights.
The press conference announcing the caucus will be held at 10:00 a.m. in the East Rotunda of the Pennsylvania State Capitol, located next to the cafeteria. Lawmakers, advocates, and community leaders will gather to underscore the urgent need for coordinated action to prevent human trafficking and support survivors.
Following the press conference, we will join the Pennsylvania Family Institute at 12:30 p.m. for prayer and worship.
