The California government is sending the message to its citizens that abortion at any stage for any reason is safe and encouraged, which sends the message that there is only one answer to unplanned pregnancy—abortion. This false narrative affects our culture in a very dangerous and terrible way by devaluing the sanctity of life. 

There is hope and healing in unplanned pregnancies. Networks of churches, pregnancy health centers, and medical clinics provide nurturing environments that give free support, from prenatal care to counseling and adoption services to diapers and other childcare supplies. Babies in the womb are precious and sacred. We must send the message of redemption and protection of life. 

Please join Concerned Women for America (CWA) of California at our prayer vigil that precedes the California March for Life. At the prayer vigil, CWA of California Prayer Chapter Leaders, pro-life pastors, and directors of local crisis pregnancy centers and medical clinics will be joining me in praying for our state and nation at the State Capitol in Sacramento. It will be a solemn time of blessing.
