When Women of Faith and Action Gather

What an encouraging Prayer/Action Chapter meeting we had!

There is something powerful about gathering with women who love the Lord, care deeply about what is happening in our culture, and are willing to act. That is exactly the reason our Prayer/Action Chapters are designed the way they are. Together, we:

Educate ourselves on the issues facing our state and nation.
Pray strategically for those issues and for our leaders.
Take action by contacting leaders, sharing information, and using our voices.

Our recent gathering was uplifting and inspirational. We welcomed a special guest, an attorney from Pacific Justice Institute, who spoke on the issues we are concerned about in California: religious freedom, education, and parental rights. We then prayed together over each of these areas.

But the greatest encouragement was simply that we do not face these challenges alone. We can gather, learn, pray, act, and strengthen one another to faithfully use the influence God has given us.

“For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them” (Matthew 18:20).

If you have been looking for a way to get more involved, I encourage you to attend or lead a Prayer/Action Chapter, get involved at the state level, or serve as a CWA Influencer. You do not have to do everything. Simply be faithful with the place, voice, and relationships God has given you.

And there is more ahead: watch for an upcoming email about our Summit and more opportunities to gather together.

Thank you for being a part of CWA of California.
