“As they began to sing and praise, the Lord set ambushes …
and they were defeated.” – 2 Chronicles 20:22
Praise Report:
For two years, The Drip Café in Denver, founded by Jamie Sanchez (pictured above with Prayer Action Chapter member, Joanna, on the left and her friend, Linda, on the right) and Recycle God’s Love Ministry, has faced monthly protests from organized LGBT+ activist groups on the first Friday of every month. Why? Because Jamie openly shares the Gospel and operates his café and ministry on Biblical truth, including God’s design for marriage and sexuality. His stand for faith and family values has drawn the outrage of activists who want to silence his witness.
But instead of shrinking back, Jamie chose to go on the offensive through worship and praise!
On the first Friday of every month, The Drip Café now hosts a Praise and Worship gathering, led by local Christian worship groups. Jamie’s heart is not to fight protestors with anger, but to see them transformed by God’s love.
Despite threats and hostile rhetoric – including protestors admitting they use these gatherings as “training grounds” for future attacks on Christians – Jamie remains steadfast. He continues to glorify God through worship, prayer, and outreach.
Fox News and the Christian Broadcasting Network have recently covered his bold testimony:
Take Action:
- Encourage The Drip Café – Send a note of support through their website.
- Support Their Mission – Purchase their coffee to help fund jobs for the homeless through the Café.
- Join in Worship – If you live in the area or can take some time out to make the trip, attend the Praise and Worship gathering on the first Friday of each month at the Café at 869 Santa Fe Dr., Denver, CO 80204.
Please Pray:
Heavenly Father, thank You for the obedience of The Drip Café in glorifying You in the face of spiritual warfare. We pray that strongholds of darkness are torn down and that hearts are changed through Your presence at The Drip Café. Lord, we stand with Jamie and his team and ask You to touch the hearts of the protestors unto salvation. May Your will continue to be done at The Drip Café and may every act of praise release Your power. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
