Women as Incubators

A womb for rent? Buying babies? In a sweeping effort to grant rights to homosexuals, a Washington state bill would allow people to “buy” a surrogate and take possession of the baby she carries to term.

Maria Lancaster, the mother of a Snowflake adopted embryo, worked with Concerned Women for America (CWA) of Washington state director Maureen Richardson to testify against this bill. Human organs can’t be bought, and neither should babies. They point out how “The bill clearly makes this all about the ‘rights’ of the paying customer” and even strips the surrogate mother of the right to hold her baby.
