United for Israel Rally at USC Wednesday

Christian organizations join forces to stand against Jew hatred and radical racism on college campuses around the country

Washington, D.C.  –  Today, Concerned Women for America (CWA) and its collegiate program, Young Women for America (YWA), announced they are joining a rally in support of Israel at the University of Southern California (Los Angeles) Wednesday, May 8, at 5:30 p.m. PDT that will focus attention on the suffering of the Jewish people and victims of the horrific terrorist attacks on October 7, 2023, at the hands of Hamas.

While antisemitism and Jew hatred are rampant on college campuses with pro-terrorist rallies and sympathies for the perpetrators of the war in the Middle East, the USC event will show support for Israel and call on American leaders to continue to back our greatest ally in the war to destroy Hamas.

Details of the event include:

Who: Young Women for America leaders, Concerned Women for America leaders, The Philos Project, Other organizations

What: United for Israel Rally

When: Wednesday, May 8, 2024, 5:30-7:30 p.m. PDT

Where: Exposition Park Rose Garden (across from USC), 701 State Drive, Los Angeles, CA 90037

“There is no equivocation in this conflict. Israel was mercilessly attacked, and innocent men, women, and children were murdered, raped, and victimized,” said Penny Nance, CWA CEO and President. “We stand with Israel and against the demonic forces that would try to destroy its people, including the hateful identity Marxists on college campuses. We call on the President and world leaders to stand with our ally in this war and to focus on getting hostages home.”

Support for Israel is one of CWA’s seven core issues. CWA has connected families of the October 7 hostages with Members of Congress and other leaders, and its YWA leaders continue to hold prayer vigils for Israel on college campuses and at civic centers.
