“For the SpiritGod gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline. So do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord.” (II Tim. 1:7 TNIV)

Now is the time for every person who fears God and wants our country to have laws that respect His principles to stand up, travel to Austin and let your presence and voice be counted.

Monday, July 1, the Omnibus Pro-life bill (HB 2) was presented on the floor of the Texas House of Representatives. It was read for the first reading and then assigned to committee. It will be heard in the State Affairs committee on Tuesday sometime after noon, July 2.

This is what you need to do:

Be in Austin very early on Tuesday morning. Go to a Kiosk and sign in For the bill (there is one outside the door of the hearing room) and Not Testifying unless you have a compelling story you want to share with the committee, then mark Testifying.

The hearing will be held in E2.010 and there will be four overflow rooms.

I’m sure you’ve seen pictures of all of the protestors. It will be confrontational. Bring your best manners and plenty of patience.

We’ve been asked to wear blue.

I intend to be there very early Tuesday morning, and I plead with all of you who can to come. We need every pro-life Texan there being a voice for the unborn. I plead with those of you who cannot make the trip to spend all day in prayer for the legislators and for those of us standing in Austin for righteousness.

If you cannot make it tomorrow, your next opportunity is to attend the Pro-Life Rally at the Capitol steps Monday July 8th at 7 p.m. CDT.

The next day, Tuesday July 9th, the Senate and House will be in session and pro-life legislation will be on the agenda.

In Service to our precious Lord
