Concerned Women for America of Maine is asking members to come to the state capitol and support LD# 366, “An Act to Ensure Compliance with Federal Immigration Law by State and Local Government Entities”
Thursday, April 20, the Committee on Judiciary will host a hearing at 1:00 p.m. in the Capitol, Room 438. LD #366 puts an end to “sanctuary” cities or towns in Maine which are against the rule of law. Portland will no longer get away with such disregard for the law. We must protect Americans first! I will be testifying on behalf of CWA of Maine in support of this bill. A special thanks to Rep. Lawrence Lockman (R-Amherst) for introducing this bill.

- Please make every effort to attend this hearing and bring others with you. If you wish to speak to the committee regarding your position, that’s wonderful. If you prefer to just attend in support, that is fine, also. We want lawmakers to realize Maine citizens care deeply about this issue and that Maine is a border state, and, therefore, must be protected from illegal immigration.
