For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.” (Timothy 2:1-4)
Because CWA believes prayer is crucial to revival and restoration of a nation, we are asking you to participate in our Encourage-A-Legislator Campaign for the 2017 Washington Legislative Session. We are so excited to see what God is going to do in the hearts and minds of our state legislators as we pray for them each day and encourage them through our weekly postcards.
Washington has 147 legislators (49 senators and 98 representatives). Would you commit to adopt one of them and pray for him or her daily during the ninety-day session from January until April? And then, send your legislator a postcard weekly with a handwritten personal note. This short note will be a Scripture verse or quote (CWA will provide this material) as an expression of appreciation for his or her service in the legislature, sharing that you are praying. The cards are never used to lobby the legislator.
CWA has implemented this program in many states with a great blessing from God. Legislators have responded with humble appreciation. Will you be one of our faithful prayer warriors? If so, we will assign a legislator to you and supply you with helpful materials.
