Save the Date: January 13 – A Critical Day for Women’s Sports at the U.S. Supreme Court

“Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne; love and faithfulness go before You.” – Psalm 85:14

Please mark your calendars for January 13, 2026, a day that will have a lasting impact on the future of women’s sports in America. On this date, the U.S. Supreme Court will hear oral arguments in two major cases that address whether states have the right to protect female athletic competition based on biological sex. Concerned Women for America (CWA) will gather with others on the steps of the Court to pray for the Justices as the oral arguments are presented.

These cases—one from Idaho and one from West Virginia—represent years of work by state leaders, courageous young women, and legal advocates who have stood firm for fairness, safety, and equal opportunity for girls and women in sports.

Both cases challenge state laws that ensure girls’ and women’s athletic teams are reserved for biological females in school and college athletics. The Supreme Court’s decisions will shape the landscape of women’s sports for generations.

Why This Matters

January 13 is more than a scheduled court date – it is a defining moment for whether truth, biological reality, and fairness will prevail. Concerned Women for America continues to stand boldly for women and girls, advocating for laws that protect equal opportunity and preserve the integrity of female sports.

Pray:

As this historic day approaches, we are calling on our CWA family to pray for these critical Supreme Court cases by name:

  • Little v. Hecox (Idaho)
  • West Virginia v. B.P.J.

Pray for truth to be upheld, for clarity and courage for the Justices, and for strength and protection for those defending women and girls nationwide. Pray that righteousness and reality will prevail in the face of intense cultural and political pressure.

This is a pivotal moment for our nation.

Stay Tuned

In the coming weeks, we will share more details on how you can engage, pray, and stand with us as January 13 approaches.

Together, we continue to defend God’s design and protect fairness for every woman and girl.
