Penny Nance Calls on Congress to Address Sexual Misconduct Allegations

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

Washington, D.C. – Over the past two weeks, the truth of sexual misconduct among certain members of Congress has been brought to light. Today, Penny Nance, CEO and President of Concerned Women for America, called on Congress to release the names of congressional members who have used taxpayer dollars to silence these allegations.

“This information, while disturbing, must be openly discussed, and it must be addressed. No more brushing this under the rug. And absolutely no more using taxpayer money to cover it up.

“The American people deserve better. We want to know about this $17 million that has been paid out to cover 234 complaints. We have a right to know. I call on Congress to give us this list now, because we deserve to know which members we have been paying to protect.”
