“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” (Galatians 6:9)

As you know, Gov. Daugaard vetoed HB1008, the Student Privacy bill.  There will be an attempt to override the veto in the House this afternoon.   We are hoping the override will be successful.

However, we now must focus on our Senators, who need to hear from their constituents.  We need those who voted for the bill on February 16 to continue to support it by voting YES on the override.  Click here to check the Senate votes.

If your Senator voted YES, thank him and ask him to vote YES on the override.  If he voted NO, strongly but respectfully urge him to vote YES on the override of HB1008.

The Senate override vote will occur next week so please pray and act.  Also pass this alert on to others.  Urge your church family to pray and contact their senator too.

Phone him at home over the weekend.  Contact me if you need his phone number. Click here to e-mail your Senator.  Phone the Senate lobby and leave a message at (605) 773-3821.

Again, pressure must especially be placed on those Senators who voted NO to change their vote and support the override.

God bless you for your faithfulness in prayer and action.
