Meet CWA of Michigan’s New State Director!

We are pleased to introduce Tracey Henry as the new State Director for Concerned Women for America (CWA) of Michigan! She became a CWA Prayer/Action Chapter leader in October 2024, covering three counties. We are grateful that Tracey is willing to step into the State Director role.

Tracey’s decision to accept this role stems from a deep sense of divine guidance which became especially clear in 2024 during the Women’s Conference at the Ark Encounter in Kentucky. There, a presentation by CWA’s CEO and President, Penny Nance, confirmed for her that CWA was exactly where God was calling her to serve.

Driven by a strong concern for the erosion of traditional values in Michigan, Tracy is committed to collaborating with state legislators to reform policies and systems that have failed to protect children and uphold family values adequately. With a strong belief in CWA’s foundational principles of prayer, education, and advocacy, Tracey aims to equip others to boldly stand for the sanctity of life and the strengthening of families in her state.

Her professional experience includes eight years as a teacher and 14 years in administration. She currently serves as the principal of a school for children with special needs. She actively participates in the Child Advocacy Center (CAC) of Tuscola and has been a member of Life Song Church in Snover, Michigan, for 11 years. There, she has served as Hospitality Leader for nearly a decade and is involved in various other church activities.

She holds degrees from Eastern Michigan University (B.S. in Hearing Impairment and M.A. in Cognitive Impairment) and Saginaw Valley State University (M.Ed.). Tracey has been married for 33 years to her high school sweetheart and has two sons, a daughter-in-law, and is the grandmother to two grandsons.

A note from Tracey:

“I consider it a distinct honor to step into this new role during this critical time in our nation, which allows me to live out my faith and follow God’s direction. I’m passionate about serving others and approach each responsibility with wholehearted dedication. My goal is to build a strong and vibrant state organization that champions Christian principles and actively promotes CWA’s seven core values. To accomplish this, I plan to establish a dedicated steering committee and expand local Prayer/Action Chapters, welcoming both women and men to join in advocating for Biblical and constitutional principles across Michigan.”
