I am pleased to introduce Beverly Shoemaker, Concerned Women for America’s (CWA) new Florida State Director. Beverly joined the CWA of Florida’s leadership team in early 2024 as the Prayer/Action Chapter Leader in Citrus County. We are grateful Beverly is willing to step into the director’s role.
Beverly attended Sinclair College and Wright State University and graduated with a degree in science, majoring in Respiratory Therapy (RRT). She worked in her field in multiple capacities for twenty-eight years.
Beverly is a published blogger, resilience mentor, and inspirational speaker. While living in Colorado, she was a sought-after speaker for Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) and a surrogate speaker for a governor and Senate candidate in Colorado. She is a certified individual and group crisis intervention counselor and has received Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training through Living Works.
She has spent ten years working and volunteering for several non-profit organizations, including her most cherished time as a Director of Eagles Summit Ranch Colorado, where through her vulnerability and transparency, she poured into the lives of the broken and wounded of our military with the love, strength, and hope of Jesus Christ.
Beverly and her husband live in Citrus County, Florida. Between them, they have four children and seven grandchildren.
A note from Beverly:
“I am excited and grateful to the Lord for this opportunity to serve as the State Director of CWA of Florida. Please join me as we fight for righteousness and freedom through prayer and action. May all we do, whether in word or deed, continually point to Christ our Savior.
“In addition, I am tremendously grateful for the outstanding work that Ruth Smith has done in Florida as she has impacted public policy and encouraged prayer for our great state. We are blessed that she will continue to serve within the ministry of CWA of Florida.”
