Meet Cordelia Schaber – the New State Director for CWA of Kentucky

We are pleased to introduce Cordelia Schaber, Concerned Women for America’s (CWA) new Kentucky State Director. Cordelia began her journey with CWA earlier last year as a Prayer/Action Chapter Leader in Northern Kentucky. Under the direction of her predecessor, Jennifer Pendleton established a thriving group of women committed to impacting culture at the local level through both prayer and action.

Growing up in a home where her father was both a Baptist preacher and a state representative, she learned at a young age the importance of having God in one’s life and being involved in the public arena.

A retired CPA, Cordelia graduated from Morehead State University with a BBA in Accounting. She spent the majority of her career in healthcare and nonprofit organizations. Cordelia has owned her own retail business and served in numerous volunteer positions, including a term as a member of the Villa Hills, Kentucky, city council. She currently serves as President of the nonprofit, Martha, Mary, and Me Foundation, and since 2022, Cordelia has been serving in eastern Kentucky, where she was born and raised, helping flood survivors return to their homes, churches, and businesses.

Cordelia believes prayer is our first and strongest line of defense in establishing God’s rule in our communities, our state, and across the nation. She also believes God often calls us not only to pray, but to act.

Along with Dale, her husband of 36 years, she serves in their local church in various capacities, including leading Bible studies.

A note from Cordelia:

“I am blessed and grateful to be tasked with continuing the process of building CWA’s presence in Kentucky. I look forward to walking beside women like you in this important work. May we be the salt and light our communities so desperately need, standing for truth with grace and conviction. And may we continue to encourage our legislators to uphold the Biblical values that will help bring our nation back into alignment with God’s will. Like Esther, may we recognize that we, too, are placed here ‘for such a time as this’ (Esther 4:14).”“In addition, I am tremendously grateful for the outstanding work that Jennifer has done in Kentucky for almost four years as State Director, as she has impacted public policy and encouraged prayer for our great state. We are blessed that she will continue to serve within CWA of Kentucky as Associate State Director while simultaneously serving remotely on the national staff of CWA as Field Engagement Specialist.”

Please pray and ask the Lord if He might be calling you to increase your involvement in the ministry of CWA of Kentucky. Contact Cordelia at 859-322-0267 or [email protected]. She would love to talk with you, answer your questions, and join you in prayer for God’s direction in your life.
