Thank you for your diligent prayers and timely action last month on this great pro-life bill SB 95, the Kansas Child Protection from Dismemberment Abortion Act, in response to our January 30 and February 18 e-alerts.

Great news! SB 95 passed favorably out of the Senate 31 to 9 on February 20. The bill has been assigned to the House Federal and State Affairs committee. A hearing is scheduled for Monday, March 9, at 9:00 a.m.

Click here to read the bill, view its history and status.

Read CWA of Kansas’ letter to the editor on The Wichita Eagle website. Though I don’t care for the title they gave it, Outlaw D&E, I am pleased that they did put it up.

Please take a moment to pray and speak out for the voiceless.

Pray:
1. Pray for the House Federal and State Affairs committee members by name. Pray they will see that this bill will save almost 600 Kansas babies from a painful death and that they will pass the bill easily with a yes vote to move it to debate on the House floor.
2. Pray for me as I prepare to testify before this committee.

Take Action:
1. Contact each member of the House Federal and State Committee before the end of this week and ask them to vote for SB 95.
2. Forward this e-mail today to like-minded friends and family and encourage them to pray and act on behalf of this important bill.

SB 95 is an important pro-life bill that is said to be a historic vote for both the state and nation since no other state has passed this legislation. Thank you so much for caring for the voiceless and encouraging the passage of this bill.

Blessings,
