Iowa Trafficking and Abuse Preventing Conference – May 8 & 9

By May 6, 2015Iowa
Print Friendly, PDF & Email

You’ll learn to identify the signs and focus on the solutions as speakers discuss human trafficking, pornography, internet safety, drug cartels, child abduction and more. You’ll hear inspiring stories and how the church, family, and community can help.

The speakers at this year’s conference are incredible in their fields.

Dr. Judith Reisman quit her wonderful job writing songs for the Captain Kangaroo TV show to tackle what we now know would become an epidemic of sexual assault on our nation’s children.

Bazzel Baz uses his CIA experience to recover children who’ve been trafficked or abducted. His stories are emotional and amazing.

SPEAKERS:

Baz, former C.I.A. intel officer doing deep cover rescues
Noreen Gosch, new and amazing developments
Detective Jim Rothstein, human trafficking expert
Pastor Monty and Peggy Knudsen, it can happen to anyone
Terri Downing authority on trafficking
Dran, Salt and Light Council activating the church into public policy
Tamara Scott, State Director of CWA and a Family Advocate for The FAMILY LEADER
Ric Lumbard, Wind and Fire Ministries, “Restoring victims to humanity”
Lauren, Girls Against Porn
Tony Nassif, “What one person can do to help solve the problem”
Dr. Judith Reisman, world expert on pornography addiction
Inv. Wes Schwanke, Department of Transportation

As the Iowa Director for Concerned Women of America, I am so honored to be part of this powerful line-up.

There is hope, help and healing available for sex trafficked victims. We must work together – law enforcement, organizations, churches, ministries, the legislature, the community, and the family – working as a united front to save and protect our children. May we in the Heartland lead the way in bringing the lost safely home through comprehensive strategies for the rescue and restoration of victims within our state and our borders. We will persevere until all are free.
