The 89th Texas Legislative Session is underway! The session started on January 14 and will run through May. This is your opportunity to get involved in the policies that are important to you- policies that will govern the state for the next two years. Both the House of Representatives and the Senate have filed thousands of bills to be heard in committees, then voted to be passed over to the other body for voting.
Concerned Women for America (CWA) of Texas put together its 2025 Legislative Priorities as its guide to support or oppose legislation during this session. The priorities will enable us to keep on track as we advocate for Biblical policies at the Texas State Capitol. We will meet with legislators and their staff and email you alerts to make it easy for you to take an active and prayerful stand on the issues.

We will include action items, links to committee and floor votes, and talking points to help you lobby from your laptop or phone! Most importantly, we will provide specific ways to pray for pending legislation.
