“The king’s heart is in the hand of the Lord,
Like the rivers of water; He turns it wherever He wishes.” Proverbs 21:1

The waiting is nearly over, and Election Day is this Tuesday, November 8. We can use our voices to elect men and women who represent our values.

I invite you and your family to join other faith leaders and me from across the state to worship and pray on the steps of the Capitol in Sacramento on Election Day!

Event Details:
Event: California Election Day Prayer Vigil
Date: Tuesday, November 8
Time: 9:00 –10:00 a.m.
Location: California State Capitol, West Steps
1315 10th St, Sacramento, CA 95814

Other important ways to engage on Election Day:

  1. Study the candidates and vote for the ones which reflect your values.
  2. Drive an elderly friend or neighbor to the polls to vote.
  3. Take care of your young friends’ children so they can vote.
  4. Volunteer to make phone calls for the candidate(s) who share your values.
  5. Pray on your knees before the God Who places all people in positions of authority.
  6. Beseech God for our state, nation, and leaders.

Lord, we pray that Californians will listen to their conscience on Election Day and vote for righteous men and women. May they be empowered with courage and perseverance in representing the truth.

Thank you for your efforts to get out the vote! See you at the Capitol!
