WASHINGTON, DC – Concerned Women for America (CWA) is supporting the petitioners in the two cases (Little v. Hecox and West Virginia v. B.P.J.) before the Supreme Court on Tuesday, saying that trans-identifying males should not be allowed to compete in female sports.

CWA submitted an Amicus Brief in support of the petitioners. CWA filed thefirst ever civil rights complaint against a college for rostering a male on the women’s team.

It is inherently unfair for biological men to compete against women in any sport. Trans-identifying males have no right to compete with girls. We hope the Supreme Court will realize how crucial it is to protect female-only sports,” said Penny Nance, CEO and President, Concerned Women for America.

I experienced the reality of competing against a trans-identifying male firsthand, and not only was it unfair, it introduced another level of risk and harm to myself and my female teammates. Men’s and women’s volleyball are two different games given the biological realities between men and women. Females can never be safe, nor have a level playing field, if they are forced to compete against men,” said Macy Petty, Legislative Strategist at Concerned Women for America, a former NCAA volleyball player.

Also on Tuesday, the Protection of Women in Olympic and Amateur Sports Act is scheduled to be marked up in the U.S. House. “We urge the House to pass this crucial bill so that women will have the opportunity to compete in a safe and fair sporting environment,” Nance said.

CWA research from July 2025 found that trans-identifying males have stolen over 1,941 gold medals from women and girls in the United States; additionally, trans-identifying male athletes have stolen over $493,173in prize money from women in professional sports.
