Just to give you an idea of the type of judges President Trump is appointing and the objections by the left, here’s why Sen. Richard Blumenthal, a Democrat from Connecticut, objected to the appointment of Judge John Bush to the 6th Circuit.
Blumenthal objected to Judge Bush writing in an op-ed that, “The two greatest tragedies in our country — slavery and abortion — relied on similar reasoning and activist judges on the Supreme Court.”
Yes, for leftists, no pro-life person could ever serve in public office, and so Judge Bush must be opposed. Not only that, Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse, a Democrat from Rhode Island, called Judge Bush a “freak.”
