Capitol Hill Brief — Election Day Confidence

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

Well, it’s Election Day! Did you vote?  I hope you did.  Voting is part of our civic duties as American citizens.  We vote, not only when the choices are easy, but when we are considering hard issues, too. And let’s be honest, there usually are hard issues, but we can’t be discouraged by it.

Webster’s defines a duty as “a moral or legal obligation.”  We have a moral obligation.

Elections are more than personalities and feelings. Elections are about ideas that have long-lasting consequences on the future of our constitutional republic.

Christians vote in full confidence, for we do not put our trust in man, but in God.
