Please mark your calendar to attend the Concerned Women for America (CWA) of Missouri Boone County/Columbia Prayer/Action Chapter meeting on Monday, September 18, as we welcome Nanette Ward with Stop Human Trafficking Coalition of Central Missouri.

Nanette will be joining us to discuss the harmful effects of human trafficking and what we can do to save those trapped in human slavery. Nanette has volunteered for the past 15-plus years with Stop Human Trafficking Coalition of Central Missouri. As a full-time volunteer advocate, Nanette works closely with service providers and law enforcement to provide direct support to victims and survivors of human trafficking. Nanette has worked in various agencies throughout the state, including the Missouri Attorney General’s Anti-Human Trafficking Task Force and the US Attorney’s Office Western District of Missouri Human Trafficking Rescue Project.

Concerned Women for America stands with agencies across the nation to stop the inhumane and barbaric practice of human trafficking. I hope you will take a moment to determine how you can get involved.
