WASHINGTON, DC – Concerned Women for America (CWA) calls for accountability, given the new Department of Justice (DOJ) report finding that former President Biden’s DOJ selectively enforced the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act (FACE Act) against pro-lifers by actively collaborating with pro-abortion groups like Planned Parenthood to track the activity of pro-life activists, and manipulating court proceedings to pursue harsher sentences against pro-lifers.

“Pro-lifers have had to face the egregious, unlawful weaponization and imprisonment from the Biden DOJ for their pro-life beliefs and their prayers to protect unborn babies and their mothers. This is outrageous! We commend the Trump DOJ for its investigation and for exposing the Biden DOJ’s unlawful actions. There must be accountability and continued transparency so that this weaponization does not happen again under any administration,” said Penny Nance, CEO and President, Concerned Women for America.

Key findings of the new DOJ report include: 1. The Biden DOJ violated the rights of Americans by its biased enforcement of the FACE Act. 2. The Biden DOJ collaborated with pro-abortion groups to track pro-life activists’ First Amendment activity. 3. Biden DOJ prosecutors engaged in inappropriate conduct and comments. 4. The Biden DOJ pursued more severe charges and significantly harsher sentences for peaceful pro-life defendants than violent pro-abortion defendants. 5. The Biden DOJ sought to provide funding to pro-abortion groups.

We are grateful for President Trump’s work to rectify these wrongful actions by issuing full pardons to many of the pro-life Christians unfairly prosecuted, and restoring integrity in our prosecutorial system,” said Nance.
