Florida Was Well Represented at Summit 2026!

“Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord…” — 1 Corinthians 15:58

What an encouraging and inspiring time we had at Concerned Women for America’s Summit 2026 in Washington, D.C.!

Florida was well represented at the summit by several of our CWA leaders, including one of our Prayer/Action Chapter Leaders, an Influencer, our Legislative Liaison, and me. Together, we joined CWA leaders and members from across the country for several days of informative training, inspiring speakers, meaningful fellowship, worship, and opportunities to put our faith into action.

Celebrating One of Our Own!

We were especially honored to celebrate Gloria Savallis of Pinellas Park, one of our faithful Prayer/Action Chapter Leaders, who was recognized as CWA’s Prayer/Action Chapter Leader of the Year!

We are so grateful for Gloria’s faithful service and commitment to prayer and action. What a joy it was to see one of our own Florida leaders receive this special recognition!

Taking Our Voice to Capitol Hill

While in Washington, our Florida delegation also had the opportunity to visit the offices of U.S. Sens. Rick Scott and Ashley Moody and U.S. Reps. Mike Haridopolos (R-8th District) and Vern Buchanan (R-16th District).

During our visits, we discussed the More Opportunities for Moms to Succeed (MOMs) Act, also known as Pregnancy.gov, and shared our opinions directly with congressional offices. These Capitol Hill visits remind us that we have both the privilege and responsibility to stay informed and engage with those who represent us.

We returned home to our communities motivated, encouraged, and ready to get to work. Much remains to be done, and each of us has a role to play through prayer, education, and engagement.

PLEASE PRAY

Dear Heavenly Father, we pray for our U.S. Senators and Representatives, asking You to direct their steps and to use their position of authority to protect the innocent and helpless and to promote godliness, shunning what You deem evil. May they seek Your guidance in all matters. May we do our part by praying for them and standing strong for the truth found in Your Word. In the powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
