CWA of Colorado Prayer Effort – Nothing Without the Deity – SAVE THE DATES

“I urge then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people- for Kings, and all those in authority.” – I Timothy 2:1-2a

Colorado is a gift from God. One that we, as Colorado citizens, are to uplift in prayer regularly. If not us, then who?

Have you ever noticed on our state seal the words “Nil Sine Numine”? This Latin phrase literally translates to “Nothing Without the Deity,” meaning that nothing can be achieved without divine intervention or guidance.

In the last legislative session, Colorado moved farther and farther away from its original motto by passing some of the most egregious unrighteous legislation in our nation. What is to be our response? Are we to cower? Are we to throw up our hands in frustration? May our response be to use the weapon God has given us — PRAYER—to change the destructive course Colorado is currently taking.

“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.” -Ephesians 6:12

I invite YOU to join me in a new prayer effort for revival in OUR Colorado Capital–Nothing Without the Deity.

This prayer effort is focused on intercession.

1- On behalf of the Colorado state government, to return to Godly principles, and

2- for spiritual revival in our state’s capital, from the state house to the governor’s mansion, Nothing Without the Deity.

It’s simple! An e-alert will be sent to you every Wednesday morning from September through December, including Scripture and prayer points. In unison, we will pray the Scripture and prayer points.

Today’s Action: Set a reminder on your computer/phone/calendar for every Wednesday starting on September 3 through December.

Yes, we will continue to take action on issues that are important to all of us, but we are going to up our game by increasing our prayers to the One Who has the power to change the hearts and minds of those in authority.
