CWA of Colorado: Mentoring the Next Generation

“And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others.” -2 Timothy 2:2

Naomi and Ruth. Moses and Joshua. Elijah and Elisha. These relationships remind us of the lasting impact of faithful mentorship. Naomi, Moses, and Elijah invested deeply in the next generation, passing on wisdom, courage, and steadfast faith. Their examples continue to inspire how I approach leadership and discipleship today.

That’s why it was such a joy recently to host two of our Young Women for America (YWA) fellows, Casey Jane Kuest and Chloe Kramer, at the Colorado State Capitol, along with several Concerned Women for America (CWA) of Colorado leaders and members. Spending time together in fellowship, meeting with legislators, and praying over upcoming votes was both encouraging and refreshing. While visiting the Colorado House Floor, legislators and staff even paused to introduce and applaud our group — a meaningful moment for all of us.

One of the greatest blessings of serving as a State Director is the opportunity to invest in young women who are passionate about standing for Truth. Through CWA’s YWA Fellows Program, these future leaders are building connections, gaining experience, and growing in confidence as they pursue God’s calling on their lives. At the same time, they bring fresh energy, hope, and encouragement to those of us who have been in the work for many years.

Spending time with these young women gives me confidence that the next generation is ready to faithfully carry the torch forward.
