The 2024 elections are approaching, and we need your help to ensure that every eligible vote counts in North Dakota! Here are ways to engage!
- Serve as a poll watcher during early voting (in some districts) and on Election Day. Reach out to your local Republican or Democrat parties for information on qualifications on how to apply.
- Serve as Election Officer (poll worker). Find information on being a poll worker in your community, including requirements, training and more here.
- North Dakota residents do not register to vote. Information including, “Where do I vote?” and “What’s on my ballot?” can be found on the North Dakota Secretary of State’s website Vote.nd.gov.
- Be an informed voter by checking out iVoterGuide.
To be eligible to vote, a Driver’s License or ID with current address is required. An individual must be a citizen of the US, a resident of ND for 30 days before an election and be 18 years of age or older. Any qualified voter is eligible to vote absentee.
A resident may apply for an absentee ballot at any time during the calendar year. Download and print application here.
