Game On! It’s Time to Start Getting Out the Vote!

By February 15, 2020California

It’s election season! Early voting has already begun across California as we head toward the March 3 primary election.

Concerned Women for America (CWA) of California says it’s “game on” to get conservative women and men registered to vote and to the polls in the primary and general elections!

We have put together a list of helpful sites to guide you through the election season, including a voter score guide link.

What if I’m not registered?
If you or someone you know is not yet registered to vote, there is still time! The registration deadline is February 18. You may register online at the Secretary of State’s website here or at your County Registrar of Voter’s website (list here). If you miss the deadline, you may register at the County Registrar’s office up to Election Day or at your polling place on Election Day and cast a provisional ballot.

Who is on my ballot and where do I vote?
Click here to locate and view your ballot, as well as your polling place from the Secretary of State’s website. Or visit your County Registrar of Voter’s website for more information.

Is there a guide for voting?
For statewide and federal primary candidates, CWA has partnered with iVoterGuide to offer an excellent resource where you can find the candidates who will appear on your ballot and where the candidates stand on the issues.  Click here and type in your zip code and view how the evaluation panelists scored the candidates based on their survey answers, their campaign websites, etc.

No local races have been evaluated there, but state legislator information is available through VoteSmart. You can find voting records (if a candidate has one), ratings from organizations, quotes from speeches and more. You might also consider checking with friends and elected officials to offer wisdom on the candidates in the local races.

We urge you to do your homework and vote your values.
Please pray diligently for the upcoming elections.
Please forward this to friends, family, and acquaintances.

May our God speak of us, “Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.”

For Truth and Righteousness,

Marlo Tucker
State Director
