Praying for California’s Students

By September 18, 2019California

California’s children are now back in school. Concerned Women for America (CWA) of California  is praying for California’s students and stands with you in concern for the declining quality of education, the deterioration of parental rights, the increasing emphasis on sex education, and the godless philosophies being taught. We are concerned for the children who must attend schools that denigrate their beliefs and their values. Please join us in praying for the children of California.

As parents of a first-grader, sixth-grader, and eighth-grader, my husband and I expect a standard of excellence for our children’s education – a stirred passion for learning, mastery of subjects to reason clearly, and the ability to speak and write convincingly.  We expect schools to partner with parents to prepare our children to be productive members in society, yet according to U.S. News, our great state of California ranks near the bottom of the nation in math and reading scores and 44th in the nation for pre-K-12 education.

Now more than ever, prayer is needed to plead the blessing of protection and deliverance from evil in our California schools.  CWA  of California joins with Pray for Safe Schools (P4SS) to pray for our children.  We recommend using P4SS’s eight prayer points as you pray for California’s students.

Whether you are a parent, grandparent, or a community member, please lift up our students regularly.  California’s children are our future leaders.

United with you in prayer,

Marlo Tucker
State Director
