State Director Linda Thorson joined other Concerned Women for America (CWA) of North Dakota ladies at U.S. Rep. Kevin Cramer’s (R-North Dakota) Town Hall meeting. You’ll spot us standing in the front of the room. Beginning at the 35:45 spot, listen to our cheers when Rep. Cramer answers a question concerning the plans in Congress to defund Planned Parenthood! He said this: “Last week, the House passed a bill returning Title X flexibility authority to the states, so rather than the Federal Government and the HHS (Health and Human Services Secretary) saying you have to use Title X funding here, we’re returning it to the states. We trust states a lot more than the Federal Government. Secondly, North Dakota doesn’t have a Planned Parenthood here. Third, we do have about seventy-two other community and local Health Clinics that do provide services to women in vulnerable situations and are underserved. The money that does not go to Planned Parenthood can go to those. I think the Repeal and Replace in the House in a few weeks will include defunding of Planned Parenthood.”

Cramer asks, “What could be more vulnerable than an unborn child in the womb? What’s more vulnerable than that?!” The truth was spoken to anyone in the room willing to listen!
We have been clearly instructed to pray for our leaders: “I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people – for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.” I Timothy 2:1-4
Pray for Rep. Cramer and others like him who stand for truth and in defense of the unborn. May the Lord give him wisdom and grace as he fights on the frontlines.
Pray for the groups you see in this video that are very angry, as well as other groups you see in the news doing all they can to thwart righteousness. Pray for their plans to be foiled and most importantly, that they will come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
