Dear CWA Friends,
My name is Sancha Noel Smith, and I am humbled and excited about this opportunity to serve Louisiana families as state director for CWA.
This is my second time serving as CWA’s state director for Louisiana. My sabbatical has ended, and I’m back to help educate, equip and empower Louisiana women and “like-minded men” making us responsive to and responsible for the moral climate in our state. I have previously worked as an Abstinence Issues Expert and as Legislative Liaison for CWA of Louisiana.
While some things change, others remain the same. I’ve seen great integrity from some of our state legislators and sadly, great corruption. While I’ve served on the Governor’s Advisory Board for Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention, I have seen true compassion and concern for Louisiana’s at-risk children. Positive redemptive steps have been taken to help mend the brokenness of our children through delinquency prevention programs.
I’ve served my community on the board of directors for St. Landry Parish, CASA and as an elected member on both my local Republican Parish Executive Committee and the Republican State Central Committee. Serving as a delegate to the Republican National Convention, I learned about the power to effect change from a political view for Louisiana.
Serving through CWA has taught me how to pray and act from my Biblical worldview to impact more effectively the public policy that dictates both the liberty and restrictions the government should or should not impose upon us as citizens. As a wife, mother, minister and business owner, I can fully support and represent CWA’s core values. I have experienced each one personally.
Once again, the Lord has given me passion and purpose. My assignment is clear. My obedience is wholly submitted to my Abba. My commitment and resolve is unshaken. Please join me in this mandate.
Please pray with me and for me as your state director. I need wisdom and understanding to glorify God and effectively advance HIS Kingdom. I am fully persuaded and purpose to live a life before HIM with no regret, no reserve and no retreat. I commit to you an unwavering resolve to always speak truth to power, to speak the truth in love and to speak life.
Let us pray and act for HIS righteous cause to be established in our state and nation.
