SB 311, SB 417 and SB 283 passed the Senate Commerce and Labor Committee on Monday, January 25, 2010.

These bills now go to the Senate floor and will likely be up for a vote in the next few days.

PRAY: Pray that the Virginia Senate would vote to support SB 311, SB 417 and SB 283.

ACTION: Please contact your Senator and urge him/her to vote in favor of SB 311, SB 417 and SB 283, legislation that will assert Virginia’s right not to participate in a nationalized health care system.

CWA and the State Legislature – Concerned Women for America of Virginia wants our membership to be informed and active. Because of changes in our state organization and currently not having a CWA person in Richmond to track legislation, we will be sending on to you information as it comes to us from other sources. We will let you know CWA’s position on the legislation, and then we will ask you to pray and respond accordingly by e-mail or phone call. Although the way we do the work has changed, we will continue to keep you informed about what is going on at the state capitol. We appreciate your patience as we rebuild our state organization so we can again have an active presence in Richmond.
